Using 3D Scan Data in Part and Assembly Mode in SOLIDWORKS

XTract3D supports part and assembly mode in SOLIDWORKS to give you the freedom to integrate mesh data into the design process in different ways. Now you can use 3D scan data without reverse engineering the entire part, a first for SOLIDWORKS users. In this video, Thomas demonstrates how to partially reverse engineer scan data in part mode and to use it in assembly mode for analysis and redesign, saving valuable time.
